louisville weather has been playing with my emotions, we had a couple days of beautiful sunshine and warm air, now it is back to depressing over cast and uber coldness - not so good.  i was going through some of my old, but goodie photos and located these and just had to post in hopes that it would bring some warmth back into my life.
this was a random tuesday off champagne sipping that turned into a fashion shoot, much like most of our adventures together while hanging out at the dressing room.  we had been viewing sister's of the black moon's website and were inspired... this is our version. what do you think? the final photo is julia, our photographer of the day and one of the sisters whom own dressing room.
love these girls and cannot wait for our next tuesday of fun when the weather!!

i found this photo on nasty gal's blog - i officially have a new girl crush, she is crazy beautiful.  so natural and bohemian.  i must admit i am envious for her hair, in the process of growing mine out and this is my goal look, tumbling flowing curls, with lots of volume up top... smitten. not to mention the darling shirt and short combo, the sultry little cut outs on the shoulders take this look from innocent stroll through the park to day time cocktails and sun rays...

thanks to one of my inspirations, hivennn i have now discovered kelly love - an australian designer... i am officially obsessed with australian labels.  kelly love is now based out of london, but that doesn't count.  these two looks are from her a/f and s/s 2011 collections.  the first look is uber playful with the 60's feel and the touch of detail around the hemlines make it even more sassy (girls night out on the town outfit for sure).  the second look is so feminine with the color and fabric combination, and the model makes the picture as a whole rather whimsical. i am a fan.  kelly love's new collection should be available to view soon on her website www.kellylove.com where you can also locate her stockist.

hello loves,

with nyfw over, and london's fw ensue i have had little time to move away from my computer... so much to see (in complete heaven).  i have been drooling over burberry all morning.  the colors, the lines and the fabrics are absolutely insane, not to mention the adorable shoes that they are working down the runway.  my favorite looks that i am jonsing for is photo one and photo four... the slender lines of the pants go for days and the military coat with the out of this world bag in the greens have me envy.

wedding belles or mint juleps?

while going through my blogs a beautiful mess had some wedding dresses posted that i feel absolutely in love with... but for the kentucky derby. who is it you ask? BHLDN... urban outfitters new wedding line, how exciting and freakin' adorable!! the unveiling is tomorrow, feb. 14th (too perfect).
